Global, regional and country socio-economic development to a great extent needs to have a well-functioning Logistics and Transport systems. This entails having well knowledgeable, experienced, committed and dedicated professionals in the area to own, manage and operate the Logistics and Transport Sector.

Tanzania Logistics and Transport Association (TALTA) was formed in year 2022. Key objective of forming TALTA was to bring together Logistics and Transport professionals under one umbrella in which they can exchange and share their knowledge and experiences which will in turn sharpen their expertise on how to professionally and equitably enable the sector do its rightful responsibility of lubricating socio-economic development of our country.

Let me take this opportunity to firstly thank TALTA members for electing me as the first President of the Association. I feel highly indebted because of the high level of trust members of TALTA have on me. To reciprocate this trust, I do hereby promise that I will ensure TALTA undertakes its objectives beyond what is outlined in the Constitution of the Association. Secondly, I also wish to inform the Government, private sector and the general public that I with my fellow leadership and members of the TALTA will do whatever it takes to ensure the knowledge, experiences and professionalism members of the Association have benefits the Nation as whole through well-articulated professional researches and studies and advices. Lastly but not least, I will also ensure all Logistics and Transport professionals all over the country are brought together through technical events such as seminars, workshops, researches and studies culminated by Logistics and Transport Week to be held on annual basis.

Logistics and Transport professionals, lets come together under one umbrella to contribute to the prosperity of our nation. TOGETHER WE CAN!
